Questions & Answers

How do Legal Auditors charge audit fees?
Legal Auditors are advised by the Code of Ethics for Assurance Practitioners that when charging fees they should ensure that their objectivity is not impaired by the hope of financial gain, and that such fees are proportional with the responsibilities they assume.
What do these fees include?
A substantial proportion of the costs of providing audit services, both mandatiry and voluntary, are salary related. Auditors are justified in increasing their audit fees to ensure their remuneration is competitive, particularly considering the auditor’s responsibility.
When can audit fees increase?
Clients should expect fees to go up so that Legal Auditors can cover the increasing overhead costs, and to recognize that audits are becoming more complex, requiring further involvement from the more experienced members of the audit team, although the type of pricing-model applied, will also determine whether the fee may go up or is fixed.
Can I request an Legal Audit?
Yes! We will consider all requests from management; however, our ability to accept the project is dependent upon the risk/urgency of the request as compared to currently scheduled audits, staffing levels/workload, and other potential factors.
What guarantees do you offer when managing my contracts?
Van Doren & Partners has a combined expertise of 75 years p.p. in managing client contract portfolios for them. In addition, we also have the applications (systems) and the people who use them every day.
How should I prepare to outsource my contracts?
Van Doren & Partners uses a step-wise approach. First step is to make a Contracts inventory which will be saved on a data-carrier and uploaded on the VD+P CM Platform where we will create a dedicated ‘operational’ and a ‘back-up & recovery’ environment. Next parties enter the test-phase and once approved, a CM-duty hand-over will be determined.
